In a 1789 letter, according to the Grammarist website, Founding Father Ben Franklin wrote:
“Our new Constitution is now established, and has an appearance that promises permanency; but in this world, nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes.”
But as far-seeing as Philadelphia’s Franklin was, he couldn’t have anticipated the emergence of a third certainty more than two centuries later. For, upon its arrival in October 2017, Stay Apparel Co. added this truth: We will only ever sell American-made products.
As a retailer and as consumers, we have an appreciation for the challenges associated with searching for American-made products and hope this list will introduce you to some great companies and products and will give your shopping a greater sense of purpose.
